- Almost always movement. If the bath flexes under weight, the silicone splits. Re-supporting the bath first is the only lasting fix.
- Can you fit a shower over the bath?
- Yes, including the valve, screen fixings and any pipework changes. We will check your pressure suits the shower you want.
- Steel or acrylic?
- Steel is more rigid and holds heat well but is heavier and colder to the touch. Acrylic is warmer and easier to handle. Both are fine when they are supported properly.
- Do you remove the old bath?
